Air Conditioning Repair

It's 100 degrees outside, you jump in the car, turn the ignition, flip the a/c switch to maximum and nothing but a bunch of hot air blows out.

Regular inspection and servicing of your a/c unit can keep this from happening to you.

We can handle a routine coolant flush(including R-12), but we also have the repair capabilities to get your a/c unit operating at peak efficiencies if there
are leaks or other issues that have developed over time.

We subscribe to the highest service requirements mandated by the South Coast Air Quality Management District and the State of California.

Good business practices and environmental regulations require that a thorough leak and performance check of A/C
systems be performed any time the refrigerant system is serviced.  Proper servicing begins with a visual and functional inspection, noting findings on an inspection form.

Next the system is recovered and evacuated followed by a vacuum retention test for about 30 minutes. Next the
system is charged with refrigerant, refrigeration oil and fluorescent leak tracer dye.  An electronic "sniffer" leak detector is then used to detect any seepage from the system.  A special black-light is used to check for any evidence of the leak tracer dye around any A/C components.  If leakage is found during any of the tests, the leakage must be repaired to remain charged.  The environmental impact and cost of repeated charging make it unreasonable leave the system leaking.

Many other checks are done during this service to ensure a properly working system once it has been serviced.
